Brazilian Diet Pill
Review
Emagrece Sim, a.k.a. the Brazilian diet
pill, and a similar dietary supplement, Herbathin, have prompted the FDA
to issue a warning about their safety. These weight loss pills may
contain the stimulant Fenproporex, which converts to amphetamine after
being ingested and may cause failed drug tests. The anti-depressant
fluoxitine (Prozac) and the anti-anxiety drug chlordiazepoxide (Librium)
have also been found in Brazilian diet pills. The FDA advises consumers
not to use Brazilian diet pills and return them to suppliers. |
